[Bug 246911] New: kdc, kadmind - SuSEfirewall2 Services defined by package
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=246911 Summary: kdc, kadmind - SuSEfirewall2 Services defined by package Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: mc@novell.com ReportedBy: locilka@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de MC wanted to add these two services to the SuSEFirewallServices YaST module, but static definitions of services is deprecated by FEATURE #300687 in this module. Definitions will be no more added there. "kdc" : $[ // TRANSLATORS: Name of Service, can be used as check box, item in multiple selection box... "name" : _("KDC Server"), "udp_ports" : [ "kerberos", "kerberos-iv" ] // UDP: 88, 750 ], "kadmind" : $[ // TRANSLATORS: Name of Service, can be used as check box, item in multiple selection box... "name" : _("Kadmind Server"), "tcp_ports" : [ "kerberos-adm" ], // TCP: 749 "udp_ports" : [ "kpasswd" ] // UDP: 464 ], The purpose of feature mentioned above is to move definition of needed ports for services to the respective package. Then, the service is listed in YaST firewall only if the package is installed. Use the file /usr/share/SuSEfirewall2/services/TEMPLATE when you change the 'TEMPLATE' to the respective '$package_name' in the same directory. YaST Firewall is no longer responsible for available service-definitions there. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
