I will try to explain this as best as I can, this is from a clean openSuSE 11.2 install. I will focus on the internet menu group but it also happens with the Multimedia group. After default install and adding Thunderbird & Opera I had the following available in the KDE menu > Internet: Internet - Chat --- Kopete --- Konversation --- Coqok - E-mail --- Kmail --- Thunderbird - Web Browser --- Firefox --- Konqueror --- Opera however when I open the KDE Menu Editor I noticed that the following list was listed (only showing those that have a sub item): Internet - Chat --- Kopete --- Konversation --- Coqok - Data Exhange --- Bluetooth Manager - E-mail --- Kmail --- Thunderbird - Peer to Peer --- KTorrent - RSS Reader --- Akregator - Usenet --- Knode - Web Browser --- Firefox --- Konqueror --- Opera All the menu items that where single in a sub menu did not show up at all in the KDE menu.
