This version comes from http://wxperl.sourceforge.net and is rather old, now the development takes place at CPAN and reached version 0.57 in the meantime: http://search.cpan.org/dist/Wx The drawback with such an update is that it requires a new package (perl-Alien-wxWidgets) to be created, the major win is that it works with the Unicode build of wxWidgets.
