I fill in my username (normal user, not root) and login. The KDE desktop is shown for a brief moment, then the login screen is shown again. Second attempt to login: The same thing happens, and I'm logged out again. Third attempt: See second attempt. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install 11.3 M2 with KDE on P3 machine 2. Try to login as normal non-root user 3. Removing 'xsetroot -cursor_name left_ptr' from /usr/bin/startkde script did not help. 'xsetroot -cursor_name left_ptr' was not present in the /usr/bin/X11/startkde script. Strange: I logged in using the 'fail-safe' option in the grub boot menu.
