[Bug 229248] New: K3B should not depend on beagle
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=229248 Summary: K3B should not depend on beagle Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: knocte@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Just installed the final version with Gnome desktop. I uninstalled beagle because I don't use it at all. And when I tried to install K3B only (not having KDE installed), it installed beagle again because K3B depended on it, which is very strange and seems to be a bug. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

This means you should have been able to install k3b without Beagle. Maybe that is what you mean? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

However now I have re-checked and I have been able to uninstall beagle without uninstalling K3B. :-? I will close this then. Sorry. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Second: if they are recommended, why does it happen that I cannot deselect any of them? I mean, I am being forced to install them, unless I am missing something (and if I am missing it, it must be very hidden). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
