(The others have never worked and are trying to connect to an encrypted network) Much like all the other errors of this type, NetworkManager tries to connect (in this case to a visible and un-encrypted network) and sits at 28% then fails. The difference is that it connected just fine an hour ago, then my computer froze (Having problems with compiz ;-) and now it won't connect. Windows (same machine) connects flawlessly, and Linux ifup method works just fine as well. (Both exited with code 0) I issued the command twice - once when setup to use NetworkManager, and again when setup to use ifup. It did absolutely nothing when I was using NetworkManager, and the interface was already connected when using ifup. I don't believe this is an ipw3945 issue since wireless is connected just fine right now via the ifup method. (Configured via YaST) I am switching back and forth right now and each time ifup works flawlessly and NetworkManager doesn't connect.
