[Bug 223792] New: zypper must be installed by default in all cases (even for zmd users)
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=223792 Summary: zypper must be installed by default in all cases (even for zmd users) Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: RC 1 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de QAContact: qa@suse.de zypper needs to be installed by default with KDE even for users who choose the zmd pattern instead of the non-zmd pattern because the script /opt/kde3/share/apps/krpmview/setup_temp_source relies on it for installation of local RPMs (the "install package with YaST" button). This button was broken in 10.1 which caused many headaches for users, it should work without user intervention in all cases for 10.2. The easiest solution seems to be a kdebase3-SuSE -> zypper dependency. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
