Uninstalling these helps me a lot. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I tested with my copy of TurboTax and 4 GB RAM in the VM, and the 7.0.4 extensions installed with a fully-updated TW as the host. The program started as normal. It never runs fast, but the Activity Overview never showed more than 2 GB usage on the guest, and no swapping. The above was done with older Guest Extensions. After installing the 7.0.4 version, it stayed the same. If the 7.0.4 Guest Extensions are messing up your VM, you will need to report that to Oracle. At openSUSE, we handle the base virtual device drivers, but not the extensions as the latter do not have a suitable license for us to distribute them. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

H&R Block 2021 Tax works fine. Opened my tax return and scrolled thru the tabs. Please validate the guest additions with the right ctrl + n key and the runtime information tab - the guest additions version is near the bottom of the page. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Now downgraded to 6.1.40_154048 and it's usable again. The difference is like day vs. night. Good enough for me. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Once that is turned off, it's back to normal for me. --- CPU: quad core Intel Core i7-7700T (-MT MCP-) speed/min/max: 1325/800/3800 MHz Kernel: 6.0.10-1-default x86_64 Up: 1h 24m Mem: 6452.3/15916.9 MiB (40.5%) Graphics: Device-1: Intel HD Graphics 630 driver: i915 v: kernel Display: x11 server: X.Org v: 21.1.4 with: Xwayland v: 22.1.5 driver: X: loaded: modesetting unloaded: fbdev, vesa dri: iris gpu: i915 resolution: 1: 1920x1080~60Hz 2: 1920x1080~60Hz API: OpenGL v: 4.6 Mesa 22.2.4 renderer: Mesa Intel HD Graphics 630 (KBL GT2) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

When I turned acceleration on for my Win 10 VM, the guest CPU usage was 100%, and some fonts were garbled. At least other openSUSE users should see this. As you will notice, I made the subject be more on point as we now understand the failure. I am also closing the bug as an upstream problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
