All this data is important I agree but its too much as the counter to automatic boot is on top of some numbers on a 19'' 1280x1024 screen and on smaller 12'' it gets even uglier. First identification is product then flavor and version of kernel, I don't have idea what should be removed. IMHO after Steffen changes there is not problem except boot section for memtest. Usually the normal boot sections have about 60 -70 characters (I mean longer name for SLES/SLED) If you decide to change something probably skip using "--" between Flavor and Name please use ony "-" but as I wrote before it is not necessary now there is place for 90 characters. BTW user can skip gfxmenu and textmenu for GRUB have more space for names of sections. Next there is possible to change name of boot section in yast2-bootlaoder. I don't see there any problem.
