[Bug 1182951] Testing with Leap 15.3 Beta b 91.1 - Issues with dangling syslink
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1182951 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1182951#c1 Matthias Bach <marix@marix.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |marix@marix.org --- Comment #1 from Matthias Bach <marix@marix.org> --- I have run into the same issue after doing an online upgrade from Leap 15.2 to Leap 15.3 beta today. However, I cannot confirm the previous analysis if this being more a warning than an error. When using repositories with ${releasever} this will result in those repositories not working in Zypper as the variable in the repository URLs cannot be properly replaced. I preformed the upgrade by running the following:
sudo zypper --releasever=15.3 ref sudo zypper --releasever=15.3 dup --allow-name-change --allow-arch-change --allow-vendor-change
Afterwards when running Zypper I got the "The /etc.products.d/baseproduct symlink is dangling or missing" warning from Zypper. An "ls -l /etc/products.d" showed that it was still pointing to "openSUSE.prod". Manually pointing the issue to "Leap.prod" fixed the issue for me. Given that with this bug breaks systems using the releasever feature in a way where they won't receive further updates without manual intervention, I think it deserves higher priority. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
