Thanks for taking a look at this bug!
Update: I discovered that in SuseStudio if I add "mkinitrd" in the appliance
build script, then the resulting live ISO can be successfully installed and
booted, with a working initrd in the installed system.
I also tried to run "mkinitrd" inside the live system just before running
"yast2 live-installer". This results in an installed system that boots, but it
drops into emergency mode after "Failed to mount /sysroot".
I'm not sure what this means for the yast2 live-installer changes that need to
be made.
