[Bug 980768] New: magicpoint draw transparent image with strange border colors
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=980768 Bug ID: 980768 Summary: magicpoint draw transparent image with strange border colors Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X11 Applications Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: tiwai@suse.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- When drawing an image with transparent via magicpoint on a slide, it's drawn badly with some borders in an ugly pink color. The pink color is a side-effect of the patch to zoom with bilinear resampling. mgp marks the transparent pixel with a fixed color in pink, but the bilinear resampling code doesn't care but just takes the value as is. Unfortunately, fixing this properly isn't trivial. By the size change, one would need the anti-aliasing of the transparent image border; i.e. we need the proper alpha channel handling. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
