All seems to work just fine until the first time I select Windows in the GRUB menu. After that, it goes straight to Windows all the time, it doesn't display the menu anymore. How do you "select Windows" ? You can do it at boot time with the cursor keys, or before shutdown using "boot next" or so from KDM.
