Ran md5sum, sha1sum and gpg -- verify, with all results correct. Because of above problem I ran Verify Media on my 11.2 system in YaST. Results: openSUSE-DVD-x86_64-Build0577-Media Medium: DVD1 Size: 4300066 kB Result: OK -- The medium has been successfully verified. Hardware: Intel DX48BT2 motherboard, 4 GB Ram, 2 320 GB disks (one 11.2 and one 11.3 MS5 that work. Want to clean install MS5 disc. Nvidia 8400GS, Ob board Intel Sound (ICH9) Note: Live_Cd Build0577 instals fine and 11.6 appears to work, Internet, Graphics, Sound etc. Repositories contain oss, non-oss and update. Many updates shown, did not go further. Canot Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot 11.3 Install DVD 2. Welcome screen comes up, Enter 3. Next screen openSUSE installer, Opens but has no text except header Actual Results: Step 1 & 2 Above OK. Screen on step three says openSUSE Installer 9 Or something close to that. Next has line across the screen where first choice show be and line at bottom where command line usually is but keyboard input only works for arrows, F keys and enter key. Press F3, F4 bring up little boxes with no text but arrow keys move up and down. If at this screen I hit enter it goes and loads Linux but box showing progress has no text, then starts initializing hardware but appears to hang there. Expected Results: Installer to proceed, show text and complete installation.
