It comes down to that yast-gtk's Table doesn't have a row selected at start, unlike the other frontends, and YCP has this code to enable and disable the fields when a row is selected that doesn't work. Changed yast-gtk's Table behavior. Will keep the bug report opened and it should be directed to YCP guys. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

"Blocker" means that this bug blocks a release. In the sense, that a release can't even be packaged (e.g. broken dependencies), can't be installed (e.g. the partitioner doesn't start), or boot (e.g. some boot script broken). It doesn't apply to Major feature loss, that would be "Major". ;) I believe Major is to be used only when data is lost, but then I guess you can argue it must apply when you can't even create data in the first place. ;) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Sergio, it seems its hard to justify pushing a package to updates
I understand. I know nothing about what is the policy to push packages to the updates repo, but it's hard to find out why a bug like this cannot be pushed.
Maybe we can push yast-gtk for bug #340555...
That would be great. Thanks.

Changing to Major.
The Blocker definition is quite unclear (I thought ... mmm blocks testing work, I can't test this so, it's blocker.). I understand now that Blocker means 'blocks the release'. I don't think a new build of yast-gtk has been made. But then, I am rarely told of what's going on. So, I think those bugs are problems that already existed... But let's work them out on an individual basis. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
