OpenSuse Final release candidate doesn't boot up on my pc. Notebook Lg S1 P222P. After "start Hal Daemon" I get a black screen and nothing more! LG S1 P222P - C2D 7200, ATI MOBILITY X1600 Please can someone help-me! (normal and failsafe system behave the same). I can boot into RL3, and then switch to RL 5 by hand, work OK. I suspected a problem in earlykdm, but booting into RL3 and then running /etc/init.d/earlykdm start brings up kdm OK. Maybe a duplicate of #551135, i'm adding a comment there as well. At least one can boot with failsafe, one can't. If that also fails, you can change RUN_PARALLEL in /etc/sysconfig/boot. LiveCD allows me to boot with safe kernel.
