I don't see any issue in comment 2. Could you be a bit more specific about the problem? Which applications in which situation? Note that MPlayer tries to open the OSS, then ALSA, etc. This may conflict with the other apps if they are opened before mplayer. Or during mplayer is running, the others don't work. So, this issue might be non-bug. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

With init 3 audio dont work...
Then run alsa-info.sh (with --no-upload) and attach the generated file.
In amixer i must unmute Master (why this is defaul mute?) and change volume (up or down) in Front
It's not muted as default on the running system. But some programs muted wrongly, and that state was saved to be restored at boot. Reassigned to KDE guys. (Or, if you are using pulseaudio, this would do save/restore the mixer values, too.) -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
