I can partition, format and write to it on Mac OS X and Windows XP. What is causing this? Can I fix it? Thank you very much for your time and help! ==Leonard p.s. I reported this to the Linux ieee1394 mailing list, where it was suggested that I submit the bug report here. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

The goal there is two fold: If you can reproduce it, then the ieee1394 list knows it's not a bug in our code. If you can't reproduce it, then we know it is. Either way, it makes it easier to track for both groups. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=261086 ------- Comment #2 from sitongia@onebeam.net 2007-04-05 22:29 MST ------- Hi, I'm not sure what you mean by vanilla. I have the kernel-default package installed. I had a patched kernel, from Online Update, but I've tried this with that patch backed out. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

I will be posting the necessary patch(es) here in a few minutes, once I verified that they apply to the respective opensuse kernel. It's a clash of buggy firmware vs. lacking compliance of sbp2 to SCSI command sets. http://marc.info/?t=117569344100005 -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
