However, it no longer does - only the first desktop is created. One can neither switch to others nor send windows there. The system is freshly upgraded to 12.2 (from 12.1), openbox-3.5.0-18.1.2.x86_64. Henne, I'd really appreciate if you have some feedback here. I reduced the number of desktops via obconf and then increased it to the same value again. And suddenly, there are multiple desktops again. But that only holds until the next login; immediately after start-up, I only have 1 desktop. (Until I reconfigure via obconf.) But they are also named differently. With kdm, this problem does not occur and openbox seems to read all settings on start just fine.
