https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=480735 Summary: librsvg-devel installs documenation in wrong path Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Development AssignedTo: pth@novell.com ReportedBy: ensonic@sonicpulse.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en; rv:1.9.0.6) Gecko/20080528 Epiphany/2.22 Firefox/3.0
rpm -ql librsvg-devel /usr/bin/rsvg /usr/include/librsvg-2 /usr/include/librsvg-2/librsvg /usr/include/librsvg-2/librsvg/librsvg-enum-types.h /usr/include/librsvg-2/librsvg/librsvg-features.h /usr/include/librsvg-2/librsvg/rsvg-cairo.h /usr/include/librsvg-2/librsvg/rsvg.h /usr/lib/librsvg-2.so /usr/lib/pkgconfig/librsvg-2.0.pc /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/home.png /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/index.html /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/index.sgml /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/ix01.html /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/left.png /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/pt02.html /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/pt03.html /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/pt04.html /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/right.png /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/rsvg-Cairo.html /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/rsvg-Core-API.html /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/rsvg-GdkPixbuf.html /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/rsvg.devhelp /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/rsvg.devhelp2 /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/rsvg.html /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/style.css /usr/share/doc/packages/librsvg/rsvg/up.png
The rsvg folder should be under /usr/share/gtk-doc/html/ instead. Otherwise appllications like devhelp won't find the reference documentation and gtk-doc cross-references would not work. I created a symlink for now. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: ls /usr/share/gtk-doc/html/rsvg/index.html -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Don't think that a patch will be released for this though. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I also wonder if you can somehow grep if some other packages are affected? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Feel free to help us out with testing (See http://en.opensuse.org/GNOME/Repositories for information) and/or join us on freenode, #opensuse-gnome :-) Thanks for the report. Closing as fixed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
