I have tried a small handful of packages from the web as well as from Gnome Factory and Gnome Stable and this bug still exhibits. Any time VMWare Player sends a bad URI to the .recently-used.xbel file the slab error pops up until the offending entry is deleted or the file in whole is removed. As a side note, I also tried installing gvfs-1.0.2-3.1 and that did not fix the issue.
