That's the way it is currently designed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=232358 ------- Comment #5 from alpha096@tpg.com.au 2007-01-09 19:41 MST ------- A quote from openSUSE.org release notes For openSUSE 10.2, not only have these issues been resolved, but you are given the option of choosing an entirely different package management suite: the openSUSE Software Management suite, which is completely independent of ZMD. I can find no option where the user is asked to make this choice during installation. This is really the crux of the problem -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

I can find no option where the user is asked to make this choice during installation.
You have to select the openSUSE software management pattern instead of the Zenworks software management pattern during installation. In order to change this within the installed system - again: Remove zen-updater from the system or set PREFERRED_SW_MANAGER_STACK to "opensuse" in /etc/sysconfig/sw_management. See comment 3 again. You can also use the opensuse mailing list for such support requests. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
