can you try the ttyS2 as well, maybe something mixed up. Does it work if you connect it to ttyS0 ? yes, but the same result: no reaction
Do you get interrupts on IRQ 169 ? ? I start programs / systam / monitoring / interrupts and got see attachement irq.jpg

(with device ttyS1) BUT if I try immediately after computer start to get connection with # wvdial /etc/wvdial.conf --> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.54.0 --> Warning: section [Dialer /etc/wvdial.conf] does not exist in wvdial.conf. --> Cannot open /dev/modem: No such file or directory I must go trough YAST / network devices / modem / config and then I get /dev/modem # ls -l /dev/modem lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 10 Nov 29 15:26 /dev/modem -> /dev/ttyS1 and I get connection to Internet how could I get the link automatically after boot? the same problem I have with kinternet, it need /dev/modem, and then (I cannot change /dev/modem to /dev/ttyS1) protocol: SuSE Meta pppd (smpppd-ifcfg), Version 1.59 on Chlada2006.
