It has been packaged. done 2)Tried installing PUEL version Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start virtual box 2.Create virtual machine(Create Windows XP.vdi w/o actual os install) 3.Click on start 4.Error(2 windows & bug buddy ) Actual Results: window-1: -------- Failed to open a session for the virtual machine windowsXP. The virtual machine 'windowsXP' has terminated unexpectedly during startup with exit code 1. Details: Result Code: NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005) Component: Machine Interface: IMachine {6d9212cb-a5c0-48b7-bbc1-3fa2ba2ee6d2} window-2: --------- kernel driver not installed(rc=-1908) The VirtualBox Linux kernel driver (vboxdrv) is either not loaded or there is a permission problem with /dev/vboxdrv. Please reinstall the kernel module by executing '/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup' as root. Users of Ubuntu, Fedora or Mandriva should install the DKMS package first. First of all thanks for reply. First , I installed VirtualBox-OSE thourgh software installer n I came across above errors. On recommendation by one of the member on forums.opensuse.org (here is the link -http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-help-here/applications/451430-virtual...) I removed virtualBox-OSE and installed PUEL version from the link provided there.
