The sama problem occurs with the latest Chromium from factory: Version 24.0.1283.0 (159435) Firefox runs the applet fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.In chromium navegate to: 2.http://www.java.com/en/download/testjava.jsp 3. Actual Results: IcedTea was blocked because it was out of date Expected Results: The applet runs. In this example, it displays info about your java environment. If so, then it's upstream bug.
