[Bug 193368] Browsing a mounted MS-DFS share fails smbclient libsmb?
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=193368 ------- Comment #4 from albert@realopenit.nl 2006-10-31 01:41 MST ------- The DFS doesn't really work well with directory's in DFS roots though, even in Version 3.0.23c-0.1.36-SUSE-CODE10 as you can see from the the output beneath. the first junction's are ok but when it comes to directories in them, smbclient doesn't get it anymore. ----- What happens, I think is that the directories are treated as links again and you cant go into a directory of a share. (which forces you to make every directory a share i think?) Ah well just some more input, keep up the great samba work :) sup-astevens@SuperLinuxHost:~> smbclient //tudelft.net/staff-groups -k OS=[Windows Server 2003 3790 Service Pack 1] Server=[Windows Server 2003 5.2] smb: \> cd tnw smb: \tnw\> ls .
