I haven't had trouble with other attachments, although I haven't tested any others to see if they are identical. Examining the message sources retrieved by Evolution and Thunderbird shows that the Base64 encoding of the attachment in Evolution's version was truncated. I'll attach the message sources from both Evolution and Thunderbird. Today, though, I realized that I had selected "IMAP+" as the server type, so I changed it to "IMAP".
