Messages on console when hitting creation button are: kmail(31273) KMComposeWin::slotUpdateFont: kmail(31273) KMComposeWin::readConfig: "GPD" kmail: relocation error: /usr/lib/libgpgme++-pthread.so.2: symbol gpgme_check_version_internal, version GPGME_1.1 not defined in file libgpgme-pthread.so.11 with link time reference I was trying to produce diagnostics for the error that occurs after editing a reply and trying to send it but it's no longer getting that far. I have just re-installed OpenSUSE 11.2 and tested the fresh installation of kde4-kmail 4.2.90-2.2 and this sends mail without any problems.
