[Bug 411707] New: Pulseaudio patches introduces regressions
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=411707 Summary: Pulseaudio patches introduces regressions Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: alberto.passalacqua@tin.it QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Customer The last pulseaudio patch introduced problems I was not having before: - Clicking on the menu control in the panel systematically (every time) gives me a "Connection refused", while it was occasional. - The system console (ctrl-alt-f10) is full of "failed to load module module_alsa_source" and "failed to load module_alsa_sink". - The sound system stops working properly when an application (Banshee in my case) using it is closed. For example, restarting Banshee after closing it lead to no sound at all, with Banshee being unable to access to the sound system.
