I followed your instructions - I replaced the KGet package from the Jump repository with a package from the Leap repository. Everything is working. But I understand that this is a forced decision. It is desirable that the package KGet work from the Jump repository.
Note that Jump 15.2.1 is dead - it won't get any updates. So I recommend switching back to 15.2 or trying out 15.3 (but might be too early for that).
