I found that it would connect Ok (using Ultra-VNC on Windows XP - port 5901) but would only display the grey and black checked background and wouldn't display anything else - no login screen/dialogs. I've tried the web remote admin as well and it doesn't seem to work. I've installed fresh about 3 times on this box and a couple of times on another and they both do the same thing. If i run this manually the file xdm-config and Xserver was changed. Because this file SuSeconfig.xdm is there ? Is correct put on /sbin/conf.d ?
