https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=648586 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=648586#c0 Summary: usb storage mount problem Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: amyekut@math.bgu.ac.il QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.2.10) Gecko/20100914 SUSE/3.6.10-0.3.1 Firefox/3.6.10 When connecting a USB storage device (flash disc) the following happens: a nautilus window opens, and an icon shows up on desktop. Clicking on the desktop icon causes the screen to be cleared (icons disappear, but windows and wallpaper remain), and then all icons come back, but the USB disc window is gone. To access the usb disc I need to remove it physically and reinsert. When connecting an Andtoid phone (the SD card) to the PC via USB things are even worse: it takes several attempts to open a nautilus window; as if the dialog between the pc and the android is broken. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. connect usb storage to pc. (icon and window appear) 2. press desktop icon. (window icons disappear, then the icons reappear, but storage device nautilus window gone) 3. step 2 can be repeated many times. more severe problem with android sd card -- see 1st paragraph -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
