I'm writing this with the machine in where I can reproduce the error, using SuSE 12.2 Beta 2, this means, this is a regression. Here is an lspci 02:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. By the way, with the RC1, after waiting 5 minutes or more, udev was able at the end of starting my network cards properly and I could even finish the installation. I got the logs with the debug enabled if you are interested (I saw that udev was started twice, a second time after a crash because the segfault, and in this second time everything works), but as I said, as far as It is fix on RC2, who cares. At about 30% installation failed because the connection failed. One of the tty was full of: ath9k: phy0: Chip reset failed ath9k: phy0: Unable to reset channel, reset status -22 ath9k: phy0: Unable to set channel ath9k: phy0: Failed to stop TX DMA, queues=0x10f! ath9k: phy0: DMA failed to stop in 10 ms *(here some byte codes go)* ath9k: phy0: Could not stop RX, wecould be confusing the DMA engine when.....
