But npapi is most likely completely removed from Firefox 60. If you used FF52 before now it's finally gone AFAIK. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I was happily using flash ppapi via fresh-player-plugin with firefox. But after the upgrade to firefox 60.0, that stopped. I reinstalled flash npapi, and that works fine with firefox 60.0. This seems to be the firefox change -- npapi plugins are no longer supported, with the exception of flash. I guess fresh-player-plugin is not considered to be acceptable. And a note on why I was using pepper-flash with firefox. That's because firefox did not behave with the npapi plugin. In particular, flash seemed to directly access the audio device, instead of going through pulse-audio. The result was that I could not get sound from flash and sound from background music at the same time. Switching to pepper-flash fixed that. Now with firefox 60, the npapi flash is working the way it should with pulse-audio. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
