However YaST does not resolve this requirement when attempting to join a Windows domain, instead it fails with an error. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install openSUSE 11.2 from DVD selecting desktop manager Other > Icewm 2. After installation attempt to join Windows domain via Yast > Windows Domain Membership or the command yast2 samba-client 3. Enter a domain name under "Domain name or workgroup" AND select on "Also use SMB information for linux authentication" then when prompted select yes join this windows domain.
