After closing openofiice konqueror crashes I saved the xsession-errors file and then kicker crashes. Tastatur wasn´t working, hole graphic system crashes. Suddently i was in text modus and i got into kde login screen. Then i press Strg+Alt+F1 to save the xsession-error. So: - the running out of memory case: Run some memory monitor, e.g. add the ktimemon applet (kdeaddons3-kicker package) to panel and check if you're not running out of memory when this happens. Also check /var/log/messages for any possibly related output at that time. - the opengl errors case: What OpenGL applications do you use at that time? Is the problem specific to it, can you still reproduce without the application? Not on my desktop computer but on my notebook (x86_64).
