[Bug 1014734] chromium-ffmpeg fails to build
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1014734 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1014734#c2 Neil Rickert <nwr10cst-oslnx@yahoo.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |nwr10cst-oslnx@yahoo.com --- Comment #2 from Neil Rickert <nwr10cst-oslnx@yahoo.com> --- I read somewhere (not sure where) that, starting with version 55, chromium would no longer use "chromium-ffmpeg". Instead, it would access ffmpeg libraries directly. A recent Tumbleweed update gave me a conflict for chromium. The options were to keep the old chromium, or to remove "chromium-ffmpeg". I took the option to remove "chromium-ffmpeg". At least, with preliminary testing, chromium 55.0.2883.75 (64bit) seems to be working well, and passes the html5 test on youtube. So maybe this isn't a bug. Maybe it is a feature. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
