http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=574421 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=574421#c0 Summary: Pidgin does not respect transparent GNOME panel Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: btaylor1@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=339176) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=339176) Screenshot of behavior This is a regression from openSUSE 11.1. If you set your gnome-panel (via the right-click Preferences menu) to be semi-transparent (e.g.: 50% opacity), it does not respect the transparency, and instead renders the bgcolor as the background for its icon. See attached screenshot. We were not able to give this bug the attention it deserved while 11.2 was still in support. Sorry about that. However current version of opensuse + pidgin do respect the transparent back panel, at least for me, so closing it as fixed,(probably upstream, but that is not known atm). -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
