After logging out and logging back in, the Gnome Menu disappeared from the task bar without me manually changing any settings. I opened the "Add to Panel..." option and tried to add the Gnome Menu back, but to no avail: the menu was still missing without any trace of an error anywhere else. I rebooted my OpenSUSE system and booted back into Gnome after logging in. The Gnome menus that I tried to re-add were there now, and I could access the menu again. After clearing out the extra menus that were added (since I tried adding a new Gnome menu more than once), everything seemed to work fine. But, again, after about 15-30 minutes of my system being on, the Gnome Menu failed to work. After getting a suggestion from another Gnome user, I went into YaST2 and uninstalled a package called: "gnome-web-photo" and now I have hand no problems with the menu since then. I just wanted to report this error in case there was a confliction between the Gnome Menu and the gnome-web-photo package. Thank you for your help.
