I just had a look at factory package git-1.6.3.3-1.5

For source code file git-1.6.3.3/builtin-rerere.c
around line 50 is the source code for the
function garbage_collect.

I notice the following code

        dir = opendir(git_path("rr-cache"));

but no corresponding calls to closedir function.

Suggest code rework.
