Okay, I can confirm that there is a problem.
I tried to decrypt two old emails (both sent from me to me). They decrypt fine
with command line utilities. They decrypt fine with enigmail 1.9.9. Neither
will decrypt with enigmail 2.0.4.
I get: Error - decryption failed; click on 'Details' button for more
information
When I click on "Details" and then "Enigmail Security Information", I see:
--- begin copy ---
Enigmail Security Info
Error - decryption failed
Public key C2781C1A46B1EFE1 used to verify signature
Good signature from Neil W Rickert
Note: The message is encrypted for the following User ID's / Keys:
0xBE65D67A1F38684E (Neil W Rickert )
--- end copy ---
Both mails are encrypted with the same key. One of them uses PGP/Mime while
the other uses traditional PGP (plain text encoding).
I'm not sure if this is the exact problem that Manfred is seeing. But I'll
mark the bug as CONFIRMED.
