anubis@linux-cv5z:~/.gnome2> nm-applet ** Message: <info> No keyring secrets found for Auto Linux_Network/802-11-wireless-security; asking user.
No, it means there's no password for the Auto connection, which is true.
on first connection it should ask to create a keyring but it doesn't...

No there's nothing else. Usually, the pam module writes some information in /var/log/messages. But else, the only solution to debug this is to rebuild the pam module with lots of debug statements that will print stuff to /var/log/messages. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

AdobeAIR apps need Gnome or KDE to work (gnome-keyring or KDEWallett). In LXDE I installed gnome-keyring and tried to rung an app named Ipla (www.ipla.pl). First it requires to run "export GNOME_DESKTOP_SESSION_ID=1" to make the app think it runs on Gnome. Then I run the app. Gnome-keyring dialog shows up, asking to create new keyring storage. I type my password twice, the the same dialog shows up again. Typing password again does nothing, the app then tries to connect to a server, but it can't. In ~/.gnome2/keyrings I see new .keyring files created every time I type the password in the gnome-keyring dialog. gnome-keyring-2.30.1-2.11.i586 lxdm-0.2.97_git20100730-0.1.1.i586 (tring to run newer version 0.3.0 didn't help) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

By accident I found solution to my problem. It didn't work because gnome-keyring in polish environment creates new keyring storage with name "Domyślna", and then refuses to recognize it because of the one polish letter in the middle. In english environment it creates "Default" and then works well. So I ran "export LC_ALL=eng_US" before and that's it.
