If yes, I would try to set "LidSwitchIgnoreInhibited=no" in /etc/systemd/logind.conf and see if it helps.

i installed on a usb pen drive and i can confirm, if "LidSwitchIgnoreInhibited=no", then the system behaves as expected. so probably something got backported and the default configuration should be changed to "LidSwitchIgnoreInhibited=no" -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
