[Bug 556032] New: Modifying and then removing an icon from KDE 4 panel also removes it from the KDE menu
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=556032#c0 Summary: Modifying and then removing an icon from KDE 4 panel also removes it from the KDE menu Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: timo.pirinen@controlexpress.fi QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4) Gecko/20091016 SUSE/3.5.4-1.1.2 Firefox/3.5.4 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Right-click an application entry on the KDE menu and choose 'Add to panel'. 2. Right-click the newly-made panel icon and choose 'Icon settings'. 3. Make a modification to the panel icon and save. (For example change the picture used) 4. Right-click the modified panel icon and choose 'Remove this icon'. Actual Results: Both the panel icon and the corresponding KDE menu entry disappear. Expected Results: Only the panel icon should have disappeared, the menu entry should have stayed intact This is different behavior from non-modified icons. Removing a non-modified icon from the panel does not remove the KDE menu entry -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
