it's a kernel option: pci=nomsi
Yes, I know that :) What does the kernel log show when you boot without that line enabled? Please attach it (it's the output of the 'dmesg' command).
surely a opensuse problem to detect what should be loaded automatically
Is this an upgrade from an older install to 11.4, or was 11.4 installed from scratch?
kernel show nothing about the usb 3 card and usb 3 hd now with xhci-hcd it's ok
Of course, that's to be expected. But the nomsi is not expected, that should work properly. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
