..to add, I used these methods to get Wifi working on the MacBook Pro late 2011 model. With kernel 3.2 and latest broadcom drivers the device is reasonably supported. It also needs SUSPEND_MODULES="b43 bcma" in a /etc/pm/config.d/ file. Yes, it is the way to make it work. Basically, the kernel v3.1 has already supported the broadcom wifi. In brcm80211, so v3.2 is supporting better. Also if you are interested in Broadcom official proprietary driver, please access Brodcom site to download.
