Updates from packman or even the openSUSE KDE:KDE4:STABLE:Desktop repository are not listed. They are included in the output of zypper lu. This appears to be the same problem as discussed in bug 455756. The updates are from the same repository as the installed versions. Are you using the packagekit or zypp backend?
