It happens in both openSUSE 11.2 and 11.1 64-bit installations on the same desktop machine, and also with my laptop running 11.2 32-bit. Only some icons are affected, but it's always the same ones - for example konsole, knode, yast2 itself, and a couple of others. The effect seems to be confined to icons I've configured to place on the Panel, but it's also the case that other icons I have so placed remain unaffected. Circumstantially I can say that it happens during processing of updates to kdebase4-workspace, but I also suspect that this is not the only trigger. When it happens and I restore the icons concerned, the Panel configuration then remain stable until the next update when it happens over again. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. During processing of regular KDE 4.4 SC updates 2. 3. Two of the systems affected run compiz, one runs the integral desktop effects. The systems run different themes.
