Clicking on the icons open the attached dialog: - no text description what type of "new software available" it is - clicking on the active "Install" button will do nothing - one has to open the detailed dialog to select optional updates and click install in there. opensuse-updater-kde should in this case either install optional updates by default when clicking "Install" or disable the "Install" button and display a text (with information about the amount) "You can select optional updates in the detailed dialog". -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I think default installation of optional updates is undesirable.
