But this time the desktop notification reminded me why it probably failed. However, I was able to work around it (again) by using NO_STEAMTRICKS=1 . I think that at this point there is no clear solution, especially for TW, so this bug should be closed as UPSTREAM and some documentation added to https://en.opensuse.org/Steam .
